Barack Obama, America's Greatest Former President

I once heard Robert Novak say (and I paraphrase): “My favorite president of the 20th Century was Calvin Coolidge, and we have it from his diary that he slept 13 hours a day. And anyone who was around the Reagan White House knows you didn’t see the Gipper much before nine or after five. I wish all our presidents were like that. If they’re upstairs snoozing most of the time, they can only do so much harm to the country.”

Quite. And so it pains me to ask: Where the *#@% has President Obama been lately?

He seems to be one hell of an Athletic Supporter, too.

We should be very gratefull this guy is such a complete fool.

With just a little effort on his part, he could have screwed us up much worse.

I believe most people on both sides know this guy is an empty suit.

Good thing he has a strong Vice President to back him up.

He hasn’t resigned officially, but he’s acting like he doesn’t want the job anymore. He’d rather be playing basketball or golf or vacationing.

He might be getting ready to pull an “LBJ”. The democrats better get ready.

What's wrong with working from nine to five? I don't recall President Reagan spending any time on the golf course.

When the CIA had Osama bin Laden in their sights, literally, but needed Presidential approval to fire, Clinton could not be found, by anyone.

Obama is in charge of the nuclear “football” with the codes needed to launch. If the time comes will he be found? The man in charge of carrying it for Clinton said half the time Clinton didn’t even know where it was so it seems obvious he wasn’t interested.

However, our enemies probably knew that with Carter, Clinton and now Obama in charge, they can accomplish more through them than they can by attacking us.

Silent Cal said that it was easy to see why politicians liked to spend money. There was plenty of it laying around and it did not seem to belong to anybody.

RWR said that it is said that hard work never hurt anyone but he didn’t want to take a chance.

Anyway, it is the Congress who needs to stay off the job more than it is the President, especially when they are Democrats. Obama does less harm dithering than he does when acting. The Democrat Congress could have helped us all if they had refused to meet when Obama refused to present a budget. But, no, instead they simply deemed bills passed and insisted we must pass them before we could read them.
