Palin says that Christie is forced to cut budgets because NJ is broke. But she points out that when she became Governor of Alaska, she cut even though she had a surplus:

Hildy, you could not be more mistaken. I’m making a list and checking it twice. (No, you will not be getting any presents)

I’ve got the names of all the Palin haters and you are a pathetically small group.

You seem larger because a couple of you get on every thread and annoy the heck out of the rest of us.

Andrew Jackson quit his office as a senator and then 3 years later he was elected president. Would have automatically disqualified him too as CIC of the the greatest military?

Honestly, sir it's obvious you've never worn the uniform of your country. Stop trying to justify your cowardice. We fight you type, right?

Your answer is pure nonsense and you don't speak with the humility of a real military person, unless your name is John Kerry.

The above question, cowardly, remains unanswered by you.

You do realize that this website is not representative of the larger party, right?

I’m always amused that the Palin supporters here always resort to name calling or insults or just plain nonsensical mutterings when they try to defend her. If you are so sure she is going to win, why do you care that I and a few others here don’t particularly care for her?

I know how the Republican Party works, having volunteered there off and on since I was 16 (President Ford’s campaign visit to Iowa State University), worked as an advance man for Al Haig in Iowa, fundraised for Polk County, etc, etc. I know how they work. Shouldn’t Ronald Reagan have been nominated in 1976? Not his turn! Bob Dole in ‘96? His turn! To the party hacks, it’s Mitt’s turn. The only one who can stop him is the rank-and-file/Tea Party pick, Sarah Palin. Huckabee can’t afford to run (has a 3.5 million dollar mortgage in Florida) and can’t raise sufficient money. The rest are running for vice president.

Simple. It’s the attacks, the insults, the lies, the twisting of the truth, the lib style arguments and the outright nastiness of it all.

I hate to break this to you, but step back and read all the posts...the nastiness is not coming from the people who are questioning Palin’s qualifications...it’s all from your side. And all you have to do is scroll up and read.

As for the “nonsensical mutterings”, the PDS’ers are no longer deserving of anything better.

Be real about this Hildy... you are one of the nastier posters on FR in general and regarding Palin... you amp it up. Fess up.

In what way did she not fulfill her oath? I read the oath that Alaska governors take, and nowhere could I find that they swear to serve at least four years.

I've been in the military too, and I wouldn't have had much respect for a commanding officer who'd expect his troops to remain in an impossible-to-win situation; that to him, switching to a more advantageous position would be considered a surrender.

If Sarah Palin was a quitter and surrendered, she would have gone back to Wasilla to live out the rest of her days in quiet obscurity. But she didn't do that. Instead, she seems to be attacking from a different position that's given her the advantage. So I suggest you cut her some slack.

PDS’ers....

From Urban dictionary:
“3. troll
1a. Noun
One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument. “

It seems there are many on Palin threads. Deliberate and meant to disrupt honest discussion.

Hildy, it’s been going on for a long time and you know it. The day after day, thread after thread assaults against Palin and her supporters have been virtually nonstop.

This garbage started on your side and it’s been unrelenting.

All of this nonsense needs to stop. Trashing EVERY Palin related thread is tearing FR apart. If it keeps up, it’s not going to end well, for any of us.

“I can’t believe these so called conservatives defending Palin’s SURRENDER. As a retired veteran I will never support a candidate for president who did not have the guts to fulfill their oath of office.”

Spoken like a true liberal. Quit my ass, she is in the fight.

“So let’s nominate Mitt Romney and have the situation George Wallace alluded to when he said “there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between the Republicans and Democrats...”?? Is that what you want? How can Willard attack Obama on ObamaCare when he has RomneyCare hanging around his neck? Because if she doesn’t win the nomination or run it’s Romney and you know it!! “

This one cuts to the bone...because for some, this is the exact goal they seek.

Still twice as long, EFFECTIVELY, as Obama served (campaigned for President and voting largely “present” in Senate).

Why are the Palin haters SO up in arms? She hasn’t even announced, and I doubt she does. Who needs the grief?!!
