Indigenous people all over the colonized world can vouch for what you are saying, except they were brutalized by their own people in the name of God and Christ communal unrest, natural resources and any number of other reasons.

Contrary to popular belief, expansion doesn't ONLY HAPPEN in the name of God and Christ. Next time, please leave your soapbox at home.

Your post is inane and pointless. Yes, there are many reasons why man has brutalized man. That doesn’t mean western Christian torture and murder of indigenie did not take place. All cultures and creeds have been guilty of this sin, the west was particularly successful and global, but all religions have done the same thing.

“Next time, please leave your soapbox at home. “

The liberals tend to romanticize non-Christian cultures. Look at virtually all the native North and South American cultures and you’ll find slavery and brutality. There was a movie about the Spanish conquest called something like Conquering Paradise. How can a civilization that ritually sacrificed thousands by ripping their still-beating hearts out be called paradise?

I’m in a 90% liberal capital city. I see Coexist bumper stickers everywhere. I like to look at the other bumper stickers on those same cars for the complete picture. They’ll usually have another one saying something like; “You can’t simultaneously work for peace and prepare for war.” Actually, they’ve got everything wrong and that points out how wrong. Nobody was ever invaded because they were too strong.
