Your post is inane and pointless.

Apparently you are wearing soapbox shoes today and since you ignored my point, I will state it more succinctly: comparing religions based on their brutality is really STUPID! Especially when you are making ignorant claims about "western Christian" expansion. Although you stated, "...there are many reasons why man has brutalized man," you continued to blather on about religion as if that is the MAIN reason for western culture expansion. You even made a point to return to your futile argument and began to express the "success rate" of such actions! Sorry to inform you, but you are WRONG! I will give you an example: the Spanish conquest of South America was sold to the Spanish public as a means of converting these "heathens" to Catholics - BS! The conquest was to steal as much gold and jewels as possible and to claim the land for Spain!! The religious aspects came many, MANY years later as a means to CONTROL the expansion which had already occurred (see also most other Anglo conquests of the Americas!)

Read your own words and understand that "there are many reasons why man has brutalized man." Trying to compare one religion to another based on it's brutality, or even worse the success rate thereof is really inane and pointless, especially when you obviously don't even know what you are talking about!
