....Terrorist supporting bases.
At some point the US needs to re-establish our humint network. The CIA, NSA and DIA all rely on electronic and overhead intelligence and that leaves out a lot. We need to go back to the dirty business of paying agents for information.
With another more Pro-American administration in Washington, the plan would be to recognize the provisional government and secure a base to supply an offensive to wipeout the Iranian rats nests down there and chalk up the first win for the US against Iran.
More proof of the evil Mullahs spreading their “religious” hate, slavery, and death.
Ping.
The axis of evil has a new member.
My, my. I wonder which side the Iranians are fighting with now?
“Dates back to 2006.”
That’s about the time that Bush went lame duck, as the Democrats swept the election and took over congress.
Nothing that a few well placed TLAN or M’s couldn’t deal with...
Well, that would seem to suck. Did the rookie Hussein go along with it?
Mmmmm hmmmm
Jimmy Carter. The gift that keeps on giving.
They are both members of OPEC and have been cooperating with each other in assorted ways for yrs.

You said a mouthful there
Thanks for the ping.
This shouldn’t surprise anyone.
There have been a number of articles on Iran’s regime sending out IRGC to countries across the globe.
We need to cut off the head of the serpent.
A pro-American government in Washington would do just that, as well as send a joint military force with NATO troops to Libya, secure the oil fields, support the rebels and remove that lunatic and his allies from power.
But we don’t have a pro-American administration in Washington. WE have a pro-Islamist government in Washington which is so dysfunctional it can’t even successfully implement its own agenda and CONTINUES to bog us down in a military adventure in Afghanistan which has lost all rationale for existence.
Unless this is a complete wild hare of Qaddafi, it is questionable, because Libya is 97% Sunni. Admittedly, the fruitcake factor with the big Q is sky high, but his permitting Shiite military in his country would likely only be if they were encircled by superior Libyan army units.
The Egyptians are very sensitive about Shiites, especially Iranian backed Shiites in Lebanon, so they would not be cool at all to the idea having Iranian military on the other side of Egypt as well.
In any event, if their existence was compromised, which is likely, they had better get out of Libya in a hurry, as there would be a waiting line for some serious players to take them out.
