Same here...the only gay couple I know has THREE beagles. Maybe we'd be better off asking the beagles why that is.
The most innocent explanation is that they breed beagles - there’s a company actually called Gay Beagles, lol. But why beagles and not - shall we say - poodles, I cannot say.
When I was a young girl in the Village in the 1970s - before the AIDS crisis - gay men would walk around with short-haired male dogs that had never seen a scalpel. They weren’t necessary beagles, though.
