Other agencies are trying to start similar events in other states, and I bet they presume the Tea Party will also follow suit.

It just looks to me like the Tea Party is the one being taught to jump through the hoops is all.

No offense, but this is the kind of post I hate most. No matter what anyone here says, or what they propose, we always get at least a few people posting "No!!NO!! Don't do that !! That's just what they want us to do!" The commies can be clever, but they're not omniscient geniuses. In fact, they're usually idiots. Let's not assign them god-like status.

Why? So we can force the MSM into an accurate head count?

It doesn't matter anymore. We have our own media.

We turned out 10,000-15,000 in 24 hours notice!

The unions can't compete with that. Let them exhaust themselves -- and their coffers -- marching in the great drum circle of delusion.

It's over. We can answer them anytime, anywhere we need to.

I saw a few days ago that even CNN’s liberal readership has only 30% poll support for unions. Union thuggery is on it’s last legs.

I believe most of America is looking at the shifting tide, or better yet what is being exposed on the beaches while the bay empties before a tsunami.

For most of my life I have never been accepted by any unionized job, I never had enough credentials or college training, I did not marry until my mid thirties.

I paid a price in life not all of it my fault it was how I was raised. But now these fat cat Unions with their happy camper paying dues members are complaining of some small adjustments is just over the top.

People making over $45 an hour, at my very best wage ever and only in the last couple of years here in Alaska at a non union construction job with NO benefits at all I barely make half that hourly wage, and only seasonally.

Sure I am envious of having a Union job, everybody does. But I don’t and a lot others like me don’t, and a LOT LOT more like me and others are OUT OF WORK!

Apparently, the parasites still outnumber the hosts.
Of course, nobody was handing out free doctor’s notes to the hosts.

How would you feel about the loss of the union for Public Employees all together? As far as I’m concerned, that would be the price one would have to pay in order to have nice, safe government job.

Wait a minute, wasn’t that the way it always was before Gov. Moonbeam in Calif. thought it would be a good idea to give them collective bargaining rights. And who are they bargaining with anyway? Who is the management on the other side of the table representing the owners and shareholders of this enterprise we call America? Nobody, that’s who.

I yearn for the days when it was illegal to unionize anyone who worked for any government agency whatsoever.

It just looks to me like the Tea Party is the one being taught to jump through the hoops is all.

The left pays people to be at their rallies and mosts of them are well-organized.

The Tea Party patriots are at these things because they believe in what they are doing. Nobody gets paid and it is a genuine grass-roots movement.

The Tea Party is where the reality is.

I know but I can’t shake the feeling that the SEIU is predicting that at every city that they will be forming Union support events that the Tea Party will ALWAYS be there.

What would happen if they didn’t? I guess I must be the lone person being ridiculed who dares to ask, why?

The country club RINO GOP hacks supported by sending three old ladies in a limousine for a hour. They brought a single box of stale Girl Scout cookies to hand out in solidarity.

The bill in question limits their collective bargaining rights for proposed pay raises above the inflation rate.

Hence part of my dilemma...include all public employees under the collective bargaining ban or don't take the collective bargaining process from any of them. Unions did rise for reasons at a time where people were abused horribly in the work place. Their popularity could rise again should private industry and government attempt to water down hard fought labor protection laws under the guise of “saving the economy” Still public employees serve a special function and should not be allowed to hold the taxpayer hostage when the pool of able taxpayers has shrunk due to economic collapse!

And a good turnout for people who paid their own way and took time away from their families to voice their opinions.
Unlike the union goons who were paid from their unions and got a sawbones to rubber stamp sick excuses.
The left: what more need said?

I heard the union thugs chanting “What’s disgusting? Union busting!”

I thought - if that’s their mantra, that’s not a winning marketing message.

bingo. As a matter of fact they are usually far behind us because they live in their bubble and have been used to intimidating for so long they just assume their antics will work. They crumble at the sight of opposition. Someone posted an SEIU protest schedule in various states. Imagine if we were prepared! We would show up in force and these cockroaches would scatter.

In the 70 and 80’s the mantra was...increase the pay and benefits of the government worker and we will be able to attract the bright innovative workers that were being lost to industry back then. Unions were one way this happened while more sensible states simply bowed to reality and raised pay, only more sensibly with an eye towards inflation and tax receipts. The right to work states ultimately are doing better in this economy then pro-union states, though they still lag in rates of average public employee pay. I’m not shilling for increasing the public trough for folks to feed at...I’m acknowledging the damage the unions have done mainly by not tempering their demands in light of economic reality.

Yet I’m all for estblished groups to be able to speak for themselves and their rights. We need the unions to get back to their roots and relearn what brought them into being in the first place, then they need to kick out these IVY league Marxist Dem frat boys who are running the UNIONS’ front offices who never ever worked at hard labor in their lives.

Cycles can repeat, working conditions and outragious demands on workers could become the norm again all in the name of “saving the economy”, and labor protection laws could be watered down. That’s what the unions were supposed to safe guard their workers against. They weren’t supposed to become Marxist political parties, threatening the public order and shaking down the taxpayer if their demands weren’t met!
