It feels like we’re living through a poorly conceived political thriller. The editor is explaining to the author, “You misunderstand the concept of, ‘a willing suspension of disbelief’. If you ask your audience to imagine the unimaginable, they’ll put your book down and pick up one that’s more believable.”
I want to put the book down, but it’s not fiction. How can this be happening? Obama has no brakes, but is there not even one single Dem Senator that can and will intervene? They can’t all be blind to the crash that is coming.
Actually, the feeling I have is that Jews are reliving old horrors of the past. That the relative peace and prosperity Jews have known here in the US is being threatened. Imagine how Jews under Stalin must have felt. How Jews, prior to WWII must have felt. Always at the mercy of others. No where to turn.
