I’ll take first crack at that list.
Romney because there isn’t a single issue he is going to defend other than to say it was permissible under the Constitution and that was the right of the state to make those decisions and laws.
Gingrich - He is one hell of a tactician but what does he stand for today that he wasn’t against yesterday. The only difference between him and John Edwards is a couple of pounds.
Huckabee - I genuinely like the guy and like watching his show. He’s just so affable and that exactly why I don’t want him for President. Effin gladhander, worse that Romney.
Trump who I admire and have met isn’t going to be taken seriously every again. I have heard his claptrap “I may run, but who knows” for 20 years. Stay home and find your PR company another gimmick to keep your name out there. Yes, I read about why you enlisted a PR firm years ago and I’m sure a good many of us here remember it as well.
But, weren’t you kinda singing Barry’s praises a while back?
Paul - I like every last one of your ideas but on this planet many are just unworkable and I actually believe if you become president you will be authentic to everything you ever said. Buh Bye.
Cain I like but there is the issue of abortion and where he stands today.
Giuliani - man you had your chance, you really did and then you went all limp wristed. Weird. I never would have expected that from you.
Pawlenty and Barbour still need to make their case and all the above have been where? In the last two years? Against this administration?
And I am suppose to take them seriously? You betcha!/s
Palin is my number one choice
“Dave the Sage” has posted five times as many articles as he has comments. The four comments he has made on this thread is four times as many comments as he’s made on any thread ever. Don’t hold your breath waiting for him to engage in actual debate.
Like someone once said about the New York Times, they like to pretend they are above the fray, but they have no problem stabbing the wounded after the battle is over.
