Thanks for the additional information, but I’ll still pass on iodine related water treatment options.
Cryptosporidium is an issue with the surface water here and state-wide, I don’t feel comfortable with just iodine related treament - iodine + good filter might be a better choice.
In the end, everyone must made an informed choice based on their area.... and live with the results.
