That’s my retirement. Can we take away your retirement funds?

That is not the point, they spent your "retirement" and everyone else's to the tune of overspending to $400,000 per person if you add up all the off book debt i.e the 200 Trillion. How do we pay off all this debt we are carrying or do they do a "right off" or a one time forgiveness of debt in almost a biblical sense. I am not trying to bust your chops, I just see this differently. If we start to pay off this debt I can see us telling the Chinese to go pound sand, as they may demand the oil ( or any fuel ) in lue of payment of our debt, just my two cents.

You see it different because it is not your private property you suggest taking. But it is private property.

Why is taking my privately owned mineral rights different than taking your bank account or mutual funds? Please answer this basic question.
