Are you telling me that the Republican Party did not have single election law lawyer on staff that was not aware of this statute? That is beyond belief. The issue of Obama’s eligibility was around a least months before Obama was nominated and a challenge could have been filed.

well the gutless R’still haven’t challeged or even opened their mouths... it looks to many that a deal was made to let Mccain be eligible and not challenge Obama..in case you forget any mention against Obama is greeted with being called a racist even though it has nothing to do with the issue.
