There are some misguided souls on FR who also would not countenance a Sarah Palin presidency because they’d sooner put their energies behind a “more rightist” but unviable candidate.
Apparently I am what you describe as a "misguided soul". Though no one who has discussed politics with me would ever call me a liberal, also they never heard me endorse Palin for the office of U.S. President.
By no means do I rule her out, yet I need to be more convinced that she will be qualified to take the U.S. back to some likeness of the greatness she once had---never perfect but it sure was better!
