Parsnips in the garden will be fine when the ground thaws in the spring.

We are going about this all wrong.

I propose the Free Republic anti-pollution council. Our mission is to reduce pollution on the planet by 1) going after the biggest polluters on the planet and 2) bringing cleaner energy to the planet.

This will be done by fining the biggest polluters on the planet by imposing a 1000% tax on all imports by nations deemed to be the top polluters.

This means the Saudis, Venezuela, China, India, Russia, Mexico, and other countries that throw the most pollution into the environment.

There will be no credits and only countries that convert to clean energy within five years, regardless of type are exempt.

Now, let’s get those clean coal, oil and gas extraction companies going, open up our land to drilling, defund the EPA and sue every environmental group that tries to stop us.

And another benefit will be with some of the profits, desalinization plants will be built in Africa with infrastructure so that crops can be grown and people could drink clean water. That would open up new economies and people will arise from poverty without the US handing money to the UN to pay off dictators.

With crops being grown throughout Africa, Carbon Dioxide can be converted to Oxygen by plant life which according to the left will fix global warming.

Win win and paid for by China. Now that’s poetic justice.
