I notice nothing there or any othe on-line Fuller biog anything about education. Maybe Ms Fuller should consider learning commercial salmon fishing so she will have something to transition to if magazine publishing goes bust.
...which makes her a masterful manipulator.
Truth is she has a lot in common with Sarah. Both have several children (Sarah has 5, Bonnie has 4), both are happily married, and both are extremely successful.
As a mom, she knows what a sucker punch the education meme is, and how other women (unaware of the facts) will react.
Yes, got to see the clip with Michelle telling us about dessert and how to withhold it from kids on the Lawrence O'Donnel show tonight. She was frightfully statist in her attempt to explain her position.
Before showing Sarah, this pig-socialist O'Donnel introduced her as a former VP candidate "who'd never be elected President".
Believe me, I'm not a violent person, but I wouldn't hesitate to shove a handful of Baked Alaska down this prick's throat- while shouting, "ObamaCare!".
Look, I could understand some dis-like of Sarah or conservatives in general, but these ratholes are begging for a fight as represented by their discourse. I hope they're up to it, really. To quote Dr. Phil McGraw's dad, "Your mouth is writing checks your ass can't cash." Which is typical of the Left- gazillions of checks written and failure on an epic level these last 70+ years.
Well, their asses are about to 'cash' in on all that failure. It started last November and will continue until every last one of these phony elitists are thrown out on their 'ass'.
They're begging for a fight and one is headed their way. Sarah is just a figurehead in what has become a movement to tear down the socialist agenda that has rotted the foundations of this country. America is poised to rid herself of these stinking termites, once and for all.
If it goes to the streets (where I'm certain this administration would love to benefit from a 'crisis'), so be it. Americans fought tyranny before and won, we can do it again. The balance between the Fed and the States is out of whack. Fixing it may take a 'revolution'.
Notice, the one's begging for a fight are unbending in their opposition to changes that might make confrontation unnecessary. Notice, they'll flaunt their 'hate America' agenda in your face as though you have nothing to say. You'll have gays serving openly in the military, like it or not. Can gay marriage be far behind (butt intended)?
Yup, these are first-class pricks we're dealing with here. And are they ever, writing checks. We'll see how many their "asses" can cash these next two years.
"Hey Lawrence, can I interest you in a 'fattening' dessert?"
Excellent points as always, b9. “poor, non-college educated, Bristol writes more professionally on her FaceBook page, than this foolish, “mean-spirited” journ0list...lol.
LOL. Whack.
“Okay, try to imagine anyone writing this article about the Obama girls, Chelsea Clinton, Gore’s kids or a Kennedy.”
Wouldn’t happen, and this is nothing more than PDS.
You go, Sarah!
She’s not “hot”, but the only thing about her that’s ugly, judging by the picture, is her mind.
We use to call that book smart but street ignorant. If you can graduate Harvard and still think that "corps" is pronounced corpse...you are truly ignorant of the world in which you live.
Wow, this Bonnie Fuller knows so much about the Palin family and all of their personal discussions about the future of their children. And of course, she knows what those children want in life. Why wouldn’t she, from a few hours of television and slanted coverage in the tabloids? /s
*rolls eyes*
Seriously, when I saw an article in the Enquirer that basically said Sarah was “jealous” of Bristol and her DWTS appearance ... come on. That’s ridiculous. Sarah was there and was very proud of her daughter.
They are getting desperate.
btw, onyx, thank you for the ping—I missed last Sunday night because there were Christmas movies on that the kids wanted to watch. I think it will be replayed, though.
Yes Track is and he has his GI Bill that he will use if he wants too. He has 15 years to do it once he is DISCHARGED (which I don’t believe he is yet). So I am unsure what this women is talking about especially with regards to Track. Bristol seems like a VERY independent woman who does what she wants. Sarah on Bristol’s back selling college every day is not going to convince Bristol to go to college and could even make her not want to go to college at all. Going to a community college for real estate is not a bad thing even if she does not use it, it will help in purchasing a house someday. Education in any way is not a bad thing and the Palin’s seem to be educating their children in a great way but perhaps not conventional. No big deal in that. In fact, this woman who is complaining about the Palin’s act like we are supporting them or something. That is clearly not the case.
what is a bonnie fuller and why should I care, anyway.
Bristol of course has made more money this year than she would have in years of nursing, and as with so many of her generation celebrity does seem to be her preferred calling.
Also, the Palins are in a sense on the vanguard of those confident enough to recognize how oversold college has become. I remember seeing Gloria Steinem speak in the 70’s when she said the value of a college education was learning how unimportant it was: that is, so as not to be intimidated by those who had one.
But, the strongest fundamental aspiration of millions and millions of middle and upper-middle class Americans is to successfully get their kids through the best college that they can. And so the Palins’ nonchalance about higher ed is a great distancer for many voters at least here in the Northeast.
Also, it taps into the national economic anxiety that we are not raising a well-enough educated workforce to compete with the increasingly educated new economic powerhouses worldwide.
It is something on the mind of many and Palin would do well to have some sort of answer, on some level, to those concerns.
I think you’ve described middle America’s frustration with the attitude of the ‘elite’ perfectly.
But I do think this snarky article does hit a nerve that will be a challenge for Palin. The simple fact of the two oldest Palin kids not moving right on to a full-time college does, in the minds and arguments of too many people I know, give credence to the anti-intellectualism label with which she has been stamped in the MSM.
This is a nasty article, but it articulates a great resistance to Palin among certain demographics.
Parents are wise to question the value of a college education anymore. The quality of education is pathetic.
Now that I look back, if my kid wanted to go to a school full of leftist indoctrinators, I would tell my kid that he would have to find his own way to pay for it.
I would help with a decent school that had a conservative ideology.
The Palin kids, I am sure, are free to go to college if they wish to. Maybe they don’t want to.
LLS
I guess the liberal idiot never once considered that Tripp and Bristol CHOSE to not go to college and Bristol instead devote time to RAISING HER CHILD.
&&&
Exactly! And both of these Palins are legally adults who could easily choose other paths for themselves.
Maybe someday the Palins will hire you as a maid.
&&
No, that is an honest job, a pursuit this person has probably never experienced.
Here's some Holiday Cheese to have with you whine.
