(Photos) Is Gov Palin Protected By US Secret Service Or Does Bush & Palin Uses The Same Agency?
Governor Palin 4 President ^

Over the past 2 years I have noticed the same individual protecting Governor Palin. He has been at speaking events and book signings with Gov Palin.
I was checking out photos of President Bush at a book signing and I see the same individual!
Is he private security (most likely x-secret service) or does our gov provide Secret Service protection for Palin?

They better not. What the heck does a private citizen need to use Secret Service for. She is wonderful but better not be using tax money for protection. She has no position at all. If I know Sarah, she would not allow this anyway.

That guy in both pictures is Jason Rechter of North Star Strategies. He’s an advance man and assisted on both Palin’s and Bush’s book tours. He used to work for President Bush in the White House, and he did advance work with Gov. Palin’s VP campaign as well.

The same should go for ex-presidents. Let them hire their own security.

The same should go for ex-presidents. Let them hire their own security. Agreed. Particularly the way Clinton keeps bragging about how much money he is making.

"The same should go for ex-presidents. Let them hire their own security. Sorry but ex-Presidents are simply privy to too much classified information. The Secret Service details afforded to ex-Presidents are as much for the protection of that "information" as they are for the protection of the "man".
