Sad to say though, this reaction by our military to me is prima facie evidence that we the people can no longer rely on our military to defend us against treason from within. They have shown they won’t do it and will in fact crucify one of their own officers to avoid defending this nation against a domestic enemy. They don’t care about this nation anymore, they only care about personal careers and advancement through the ranks. I used to think it would be ridiculous to even suggest that if commanded to shoot or herd their neighbors and relatives into the nearest gulag they would fight. Now I’m convinced they will do whatever they are ordered to do.

Prima facie evidence #2 as to my belief being the correct one is the response over and over on FR from fellow freepers willing to jump on the same military bandwagon seeking to crucify another officer rather than get to the truth of the matter of Obama’s eligibility. If a conservative website can’t come to this officer’s defense why would we think anyone else would?

I hate to admit it, but I’ve given up. We’re well on the road to tyranny and I no longer see any way out of it. We’re toast when our own military won’t defend us any longer.

The most egregious response is “the media ridiculed it”.

I have to agree with you CG - we are doomed if the military is ever asked by this tyrant to turn its guns on us.

The only defense to the military’s paralysis is that they are well aware of the crisis and are keeping silent until 2012. They better have a back-up plan if Wikileaks lets the cat outta the bag.

Don't give up conservativegramma. That's precisely what they want. For nothing other than defending the Constitution...don't give them that satisfaction. It was clear near the beginning of this mess, that it would be a very long, uphill battle.

I think perhaps they cannot SEE or HEAR the support that is in reality there for them... and without that... they see no reason to force the issue.

This fight will not be over until that cretin is shown to be an usurper. I don’t care if that takes another 5 years. I want HISTORY to record that we KNEW and we fought him. That we never gave up on exposing the cretin for what he is, an usurper. If nothing else, I want to see he never makes a dime on the lecture circuit, and Michelle ends up wearing used goodwill clothes instead of her designer boob-belts. I want them disgraced for the eyes of ALL history, for everyone to see their shame.

At least for the highest levels of leadership it certainly does look that way.

And...For posting this some Obot is sure to accuse me of having contempt for our military. That of course is absolutely not the case. Our fine military deserve to have a legitimate Commander in Chief...**all** of them...even the highest officers.

How can having this cloud of doubt over Obama's eligibility be good for morale. If Obama is doing this for political traction against the Republicans, then it is OBAMA who holds the military in contempt for using them as political pawns.

I have come to the same conclusion gramma. Unfortunately the example of the troops in Germany under Hitler was a stark reminder of what will happen in this country. Like you said, “if a conservative website can’t come to this officer’s defense” in a cohesive manner regardless of whether he is right or wrong we are toast. To find out if he is right is more important and would be the right thing to do. To sit behind a computer screen and scream “we are sick of the lies” and then claim “he is on his own because he broke the law” is shameful and telling.

I completely agree. The dictatorship has arrived, and the sissified, politicized nation of once strong men and women simply caved in. Lining us up at the gulags isn’t a far stretch — look how easily they made everyone line up to be molested (or at minimum groped or irradiated) by TSA.

Those you have mentioned in Prima facie #2 has constantly ridicules us who still are concern about our Constitution's eligibility clause calling us with derogatory names like "birthers," and one anti-military, which is far from the truth. That we are total idiots on the issue of the command chain, etc.

They truly working as "Fifth Columns" still keeping their combat knee-pads strapped on. This total ignorance of the CONSTITUTION, and the OATH taken, the corruption within ALL the three branches and from outside forces, gets one to wonder if one should commend or condemn Julian Assange, hmmmm !!!
