Only use the little ones,the young ones, the older and larger ones are tough and taste bitter. Use a little honey barbeque sauce, too. They taste almost Southern.Nobody ever wants the older, larger ones. But they're ok with ketchup. To get that true Southern taste, don't you have to soak them in cooking oil first?
