A brilliantly comprehensive takedown by Palin of the Propaganda Ministry.

You will notice the vast gulf between how Palin operates and how Karl Rove and the blissfully incompetent Bush Public Relations operation during the Second Term? Notice a difference?

One fights back and NEVER lets a negative attack go unanswered, indeed, one uses lefty mistakes and miscues against its opponent, the other's meek responses gets buried in an avalanche of left wing propaganda.

You saw the difference today. ANY potential candidate who knows how to counterattack like that is showing you Presidential timbre.

Period. Accept no rationalizations.

Best,

Chris

“ANY potential candidate who knows how to counterattack like that is showing you Presidential timbre.”

Exactly.

And let’s face it—while there is always a need to maintain integrity, sometimes you can try too hard to turn the other cheek. There comes a point when it seems a bit self-absorbed and pretentious.

I mean, you can preserve the integrity of the office and all that, but if your efforts bring political defeat to your party it ruins everything.

Self-absorption can destroy integrity just as much as rolling around in the mud with your critics. Bush’s problem was he was either too self-absorbed or he just didn’t understand that he was doing more harm than good.

I believe Palin knows how to fight back, and do it with integrity.
