The purpose of the TSA is to screen its employees and desensitize them so they will have them prepared to push some of us into ovens at some point in the future.

Show me a man, in return for a paycheck, who is willing to grope the crotch of a three year old boy who is screaming for his mother and I will show you a man who would have little compunction for herding people into cattle cars for transport to a concentration camp.

You are so right. Some guy called in to a radio show today saying ‘don’t be too hard on the TSA, they have to do it or they will be fired’. Well excuse me, but at SOME frickin’ point, you have to stand up for what’s right! If all the TSA agents refused to part-take in this outrage, what could be done to them? fire them all? Go ahead- and don’t let the door hit ya! Same with pilots and stewardesses- just all refuse to work until this is stopped. then it will stop! But we are all quivering cowards enslaved to the system for our next paycheck for anyone to have the guts to say ‘let’s do it’. A sad state of affairs indeed. I always used to mock the French for their riots, but damn, I think it’s about time we take a lesson from them!

I can't shake that feeling. This is a ludicrous expenditure of time and funds on something that if not uniformly applied (and in the absence of cargo screenings) is absolutely useless. It makes an undeniable point that a certain segment of society can be programmed to do the unthinkable and it desensitizes the rest of the people who have the ability and income to actually take a flight to what will come. Once you get the mainstream of society to “accept” the unacceptable, it won't be hard to get the rest to follow blindly along.

Nope, this is not what it purports to be. It smells to high heaven. I think it is being made intolerable so people will tolerate something less invasive — oh, say like a microchip placed under the skin that has all the identifiable information on it.

If you don't like a stranger's hand up your skirt or down your pants and if you don't like the possibility of nude photos of you turning up on Wikileaks, then what's the next best alternative - biometrics - that's what. No one would even consider it unless the alternative was worse. You don't want your poor child traumatized do you? Here, let's put this little chip under their skin -- it's for the children. This stinks worse than a pookey diaper.
