OKay, there is a resoluton. It took some time to figure it out but obviously none of the cell companies nor Magicjack’s “crack technical talent” time took the time to even think about the problem.

You’re cell phone was originally assigned in a different area code than you now have billing and service provider. In my case, it was a 727 area code and I now lived in area code 540. Anyone I called still saw the call coming from Clearwater Florida.

I got Verizon to assign me a new 540 number for my cell and the problem vanished. A pain in the rear to let all of your contacts know about the new number, but it fixed the problem

I dumped the MJ and got a NetTalk. It hooks directly to my router. I no longer have to leave a computer running and the sound quality is better.
