The troika reportedly consists of First Lady Michelle Obama, presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett, and the president’s mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, who resides in the White House.”
Like that’s anything new? I don’t think there have been too many First Ladys who weren’t co-presidents. Some like Eleanor Roosevelt and Hillary were more open about it than others, but I think most were to an extent.
I had heard that Marian Robinson had given at least one interview where she complained about Michelle’s health food schtick. She said something along the lines of “Ah, come on. What’s wrong with letting the girls have a hamburger or a piece of fried chicken once in a while?”
Afterwards, they kind of shut her up and she hasn’t given any more interviews. I guess she was too real for them.
Hmm, where was the interview with Mama Robinson? The only thing I’ve read about her is that she practices santeria or voodoo or something.
