We received a brief email update from our White House Insider, indicating a president returning from abroad "dejected and confused" and "emotionally debilitated" over the cold reception he received from world leaders, and White House staff now scrambling to protect the president from a looming scandal.

Hello again. Assume you noted all of the incoming by Democrats against Pres? Of particular note is that of Doug S. Doug has been acting as Hillary’s gadfly for some time now. Very connected. Very insightful. Very good. One to be feared. I like Doug. His and Pat’s open declaration against President is clear signal Hillary camp fully engaged. Developing. And gotta love Pat. He’s back in it now! I strongly suspect they know of Obama’s coming scandal(s). Foundation being set in place for all out offensive going into 2012. The DC diaper is full up and in need of a change…

Beckel’s a political analyst at Fox News and columnist for USA Today.

It’s amusing to see his bio boast of winning the presidential nomination for Walter Mondale in 1984, yet not a word of the shellacking Walter took in the general election. Reagan won 49 seats—a feat equalled only by RMN in 1972—and his electoral vote tally, 525, was the highest ever for a presidential candidate.

I’m too lazy to find it again, but one of the WHI alludes to the insider’s past career as a journalist (maybe newspaperman, but I won’t swear to that) and there are repeated allusions to how old the guy is. I suppose in principle, these too describe Beckel. However, although he served at State for awhile, to my knowledge, he’s never served in any WH. Hence WH Insider seems like a bit of a stretch if he’s really the one doing the leaking.

As someone else noted, it was Quidam. But to answer the 2nd part of your question, Quidam never offered up any “hard” predictions that I can remember. I believe that’s what frustrated many at FR. They wanted Quidam to prove his/her bona fides with a solid unequivocal piece of verifiable insider info. But instead, his/her postings were full of more vague tidbits such as “jaws were dropping” as details of Clinton-Lewinsky were divulged.

Quidam’s posts all very much had the WHI flavor: they seemed to embellish upon suspicions people already had or tidbits of media news. Anyway, someone with a better memory than mine may recall a very concrete prediction from Quidam that either was shown to be true or not true. My takeaway from his posts was that impeachment and conviction was unavoidable given what had been divulged. Clinton ultimately was impeached but not convicted. Does that make Quidam the real deal or a fraud? Beats me.

To the *insider* part: he knows people and he may hear more because he isn't working there. State is full of people who trade on their information. I have known a few staffers in my time who exaggerated their own roles consistently and were eager to mention various principles in a catty manner. He has traded on his access to gossip all his public life. One can only imagine what he is like in private life. Who would trust such a blabber mouth?

I always grin when his Mondale campaign is pimped as his main credential. I noticed about a year ago, FNC changed his cred line to *journalist* and stopped the Mondale mention. I feel the same about Estrich and Schoen. They are the Three Losers who somehow managed to become experts in political commentary.

Once someone breeches the wall with the first one, no telling what we will find out. The pile-on that has already started will intensify and gain steam.

Books will come out, investigations start. I would like to know who is paying for all the stumping, vacations, and constant touring and speech making.

Hillary has the word evil written on her forehead. Let's not forget what her and her husband did to our military and the seething hate they both have for it. Let's not forget the BM technology they gave to China. And how they ignored Bin Laden. Most of her stupid supporters have no knowledge about any of this. We have a left over hippie that comes on after Rush on a local Scranton station. I listen to him for a while just to see what LSD does over the years to the brain. Him and his callers think she is our savior for the future. Very scary.

That or genuinely dismissive of the issue. That one is the nuclear potato and if true quite likely would destroy the DNC because of Nancys involvement. The DNC knew it all along, so if it’s found to he true, they likely have no cover and no alibi.

I am sure the inside knows this.

He knows it well enough to want to keep it in the mockery category, because the more seriously he takes it, the closer it comes to going main stream.

He doesn’t want to destroy the democrat party. The NBC issue likely could destroy it. Should in my opinion... But hey I think they deserve it.
