I don’t think the state matters as much as whether you are in the city or out in the country and how prepared you are as an individual.
I wouldn’t want to be in any city where I couldn’t get out of it within 5 to 10 minutes.
Thanks for ping. I have decided, if the offer still stands, to move in the spring to the place I mentioned before. It’s far enough off the beaten path yet is a lttle community where people look out for one another. Additionally my landlords new garage is close by if I have auto troubles...or get snowed in. This would take me outside this small city into the urban area and then some. An added plus is there is a garden there already for planting. Meanwhile have started to stock up little by little.
