Here is hilarious audio of Rush Limbaugh today replaying and commenting on a call from what he calls a new castrati caller that sounded exactly like Limbaughs impersonation of the stereotypical far-Left male. In fact, Limbaugh said many people believed the call was a setup, because it was just too good to be true. But Rush says, the caller was real.

RUSH: Adam in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Nice to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.
CALLER: Hi, Rush. How are you?
RUSH: Very well, sir. Thank you.
CALLER: I am a first-time caller and a lifetime listener.
RUSH: Thank you.
CALLER: I’ve listened to you since I was four or five years old.
RUSH: Whoa! How old are you now?
CALLER: I’m 18.
RUSH: Oh. You’re a genuine, true Rush Baby here.
CALLER: Yep. I just voted for the first time last week. Very exciting.
RUSH: I don’t even need to ask you how you voted, either.
CALLER: Nope. No, you don’t. (chuckles) I just wanted to call you to reassure you that young man that called you yesterday and told you how he thought about your comments about the British students.
RUSH: Oh, yeah, the New Castrati guy from San Antonio.
CALLER: Yeah. I just wanted to let you know that he doesn’t represent the young Americans in this country. He obviously was “with Mary Jane,” if you know what I’m saying.
RUSH: Oh, yeah, he was out there with a doobie.
CALLER: Yep. (chuckles) To say the least.
RUSH: That’s what upset him! I’m calling these British people “longhaired, dope-smoking, maggot-infested FM types.” I’m sure he’s one of those three things.
CALLER: Probably all three, more likely.
RUSH: (laughing)
CALLER: But I gotta tell you I would do just about anything to pay what those students are paying for tuition in the UK. I mean, what was it, like five grand a year that they’re paying?
RUSH: They’re paying close to that, yeah, and it’s gonna go up to nine.
CALLER: Yeah.
RUSH: They’re raising it nine to 14,000 pounds, 9,000 or something like that, yeah.
CALLER: And it cost, what, 20 grand for college these days for a semester?
RUSH: Well, yeah, depending it could be even on here, 25. So the increase I think is $3,000 equivalent is what the increase is.
CALLER: Yeah, and that’s if you go to a state college. That’s not if you want to go to another college. But I just wanted to let you know that he does not represent the young Americans in this country.
RUSH: Well, I know that, I know. His call served a fun purpose. In fact, Mike, you ought to get that call and we ought to have it standing by. (interruption) You have it? We don’t have time to play this. People thought that this was a parody call because this guy sounds exactly like when I speak of the New Castrati and make fun of ‘em. I had people think this was a whole setup, a brilliant setup that I had put on people, and it wasn’t. This guy’s a genuine caller. Here. Here’s part of it.
BEGIN NEW CASTRATI CALLER CLIP
RUSH: Bobby, San Antonio, Texas. Welcome to the EIB Network, sir.
CALLER: (angry) You know, as I sit here and I listen to you pass judgment onto others for the way they look or substance abuse. I think to myself, “That’s really funny.” You know, talk about hypocrisy. Come on, coming from an addict like yourself. You say you love the country so much —
RUSH: What do you mean, talking about the way they look?
CALLER: Yes. You do it all the time. I sit here and I listen to these really bad parodies that you guys play while people are on hold.
RUSH: (sigh)
CALLER: They’re really mean and nasty, and they’re personal, and they’re wrong. You pick on Jesse Jackson. That’s a man who stood with Martin Luther King. He’s practically a prophet, and I’m sure if Martin were alive today, you would have parodies of him, too, because we know exactly what you’re about, Mr. Limbaugh!
RUSH: (New Castrati impression) What am I “about,” sir? What am I about? Tell me, Mr. New Castrati, just exactly what am I “about,” sir?
CALLER: Well, you talked about giving tax breaks, more tax breaks to the richest of the rich. If this country needs you... For a person like yourself who’s taken so much while taking nothing back — while giving nothing back — when is it your turn to give something back this country that you claim to love so, SIR? When will it be time for you to care about someone else other than your own...?
RUSH: Let me tell you something.
CALLER: All you care about is profit!
RUSH: I have given back —
CALLER: All you care about is lies!
RUSH: I have given back —
CALLER: (shouting)
RUSH: Take this lamebrain off the air. I have given back to my country and to my fellow citizens more in one year than you are gonna earn in your worthless life, Mr. New Castrati — and if you ever get famous, we’ll do a parody on you, too, because it would bring big time yuks.
END NEW CASTRATI CALLER CLIP
RUSH: So that’s it. (laughing) That was Mr. New Castrati yesterday. It was from San Antonio, and he was legit. I got two kinds a e-mail response. One line of response was just lived at you, Snerdley, for even putting the guy on the air, and the other line of response was, “Come on, Rush. You made all that up. Nobody really talks or sounds that way,” and it was legit. You heard it, Mr. New Castrati. It was typical, the greatest example of it we coulda found.

You know, I’ve been mocking Limbaugh worshipers for years here.
I’ve had all manner of slams made at me.. all well earned.
But here Limbaugh has thumbed his nose at folks who are not so successful as himself..
likely not the first time but I’m not a fanatic about such things.
I gotta say, this collection of mindless Limbaugh worship is the best yet!
Even when he basically calls folks worthless dogs, they bow down to him!
That’s just awesome. He should write a third book.
If I were to parody an effete, effeminate liberal “man”, I’d probably sound a lot like that caller.
LOL.
If Rush is worth 500 million dollars... I personally hope that he makes it to one billion! I am happy when any Conservative earns his way to that kind of wealth. Only in America!
LLS
My LOL was to “74 1/2,” not you. Weird.
“There is no crying on FR.”
Well there was some crying and knashing of teeth when the kenyan won... but I get your point. ;-)
LLS
“When I hurt my toe a few years ago, I just took out my hunting knife and cut a hole in my cowboy boot.”
I hope it wasn’t an expensive boot. :)
No just an old pair of Ropers.
He holds you in contempt. He obviously thinks hes better than you. And you cheer for him!
Did you listen to the same clip that I heard? The caller was spewing about how Rush doesn't "give back" and does nothing for his "fellow citizens." Rush was responding to that. And in showing his disdain and disgust for that moronic caller, he referred to the caller's "miserable life," not because he won't ever make millions of dollars, but because people who think like that ARE miserable, and tend to try to bring others down to his level.
I don't think Rush hold's "the people" in contempt, just leftists like that caller. Rush has pretty humble roots... Sure, he was born into a good and fairly wealthy family, but I remember when he had struck out on his own and worked for a local KC radio station. Not a big paying gig. And of course, there are the stories about when he worked for the KC Royals, though I have no personal experience with him while he was there.
Rush deserves the fruits of his success, and is one of the "good guys," and he does give more to charities in one year than most of us (especially me) will ever earn in our lives.
Mark
Pretty cool how you did that.
Sigh, I have no computer skills.
In fact, that you would use such a term should remind most people of a street-corner preacher shouting nonsense. If anything, the "worshipper" is you.
Sorry to take you to task here, and I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. But the twerp specifically asked Rush, "When are you going to care about anyone besides yourself... Give back... etc" And Rush simply responded to that. They twerp asked a specific question, calling into question Rush's lack of charitable giving.
Mark
He didn’t listen to the clip, silly. The link at the top of the thread leads to a blog.
I have no problem with Limbaugh’s success.
He got mad and basically said “Nyah Nyah I make more money than you, you are a miserable dog”.
Well.. here’s some breaking news. Lots of us make less money than he does.
By his definition, doesn’t that make us all miserable dogs in his eyes?
Me, I’m not OK with that. Screw that.
"For a person like yourself who's taken so much while giving nothing back, when is it your turn to give something back to this country that you claim to love... so... sir?! When will it be time for you to care about someone else other than your own? All you care about is your profits..."
After that, Rush goes of on the twerp, and I couldn't really make out what else he was saying...
But reading what the twerp said, do you really think that Rush was holding everyone who's not as rich as him in contempt, or just the twerp?
Mark
If you were a REAL man, riding in GP Motorcycle Racing World Championships, you'd just have the toe amputated!
Mark
(some years ago, a rider in the hunt for the world championship broke a finger in a crash during practice sessions and couldn't get his glove on... He had it amputated so he could race the following day.)
He got mad and basically said "Nyah Nyah I make more money than you, you are a miserable dog". Nyah Nyah I make more money than you, you are a miserable dog.
MarkL - Why are any of us even trying to explain anything to this crybaby who wanted to hijack a thread so everyone would pay attention to him?
I’m sure everytime there’s a positive Rush thread, this whiner runs in to tell all of us that what we hear isn’t what we think we heard. He should get a job at MSNBC, he’s so “on the money.”
Some folks have the wherewithal to ping the folks they talk about.
Others are cowardly skank street floozies who spew crap behind other’s backs.
I guess we’ve just determined which you are.
