Moved three miles over, down the road and around the corner.
I’d wante to get some stone mason tools and carve that rock for LadyX.
She’d passed on about the same day or so that I moved that rock.
But the granite wasn’t of a good enough quality for it.
Very disappointing.

I think that is the reason I remember the rock. That was going on at the time Maggie died. I still have so many reminders of her. The afghan that she had her husband crochet for me. He said that she stood over him to make sure he did it exactly as she wished. He would make a tiny mistake and she would make him unravel it and do it over. He would protest that “nobody would notice it”, to which she would snap, “I did”. I cherish that afghan and put it in the cedar chest to keep for my granddaughter. I still miss that sweet Sistah.
