"I wouldn’t say you were to late, but you better get on it an get on it NOW! Anything is better than nothing! But do your homework first the put togther a plan and get moving on it."

If these people are only 50% accurate, NOW may be your last chance.
I don't know if or when this could happen but Glenn Beck used some of their stats on his Thursday TV show.

NIA Projects Future U.S. Food Price Increases

"NIA projects that at the average U.S. grocery store it will soon cost $11.43 for one ear of corn, $23.05 for a 24 oz loaf of wheat bread, $62.21 for a 32 oz package of Domino Granulated Sugar, $24.31 for a 32 fl oz container of soy milk, $77.71 for a 11.30 oz container of Folgers Classic Roast Coffee, $45.71 for a 64 fl oz container of Minute Maid Orange Juice, and $15.50 for a Hershey's Milk Chocolate 1.55 oz candy bar. NIA also projects that by the end of this decade, a plain white men's cotton t-shirt at Wal-Mart will cost $55.57."

No, I don't know when is 'soon.' Other inflation predictors show large price increases beginning in the first half of 2011 because they are already 'built-in' at the wholesale level.

I have been putting together a new plan because I am very worried have always been one of those kind of people who hopes for the best but prepares for the worst. I now completely believe we will see the worst.

This is all going to be devastating for Seniors our pensions won’t go up and savings are paying next to nothing so even those of us who did things right paid off our houses, set up some type of pension plan and have savings and may have thought we could travel a little will have to rethink those plans and the savings will have to go to just survive.

Seniors with no savings or little savings (keep in mind many people lost lots of money they had set aside that was in bonds/pension plans, etc. due to the bad housing loans sold to investors by the banks)well Bernanke has sentenced them to go hungry and worse.

The younger people many of whom have had to take pay/hour cuts what about them? We are talking about people with degree’s who can no longer find decent paying jobs not all the people out of work are slouches. This is terrible for those at the lower economic end of the job market at least they work this imposes a huge hidden tax on them as well.
