What you said is that the gains here are good (I agree), and that the table is set for 2012 (I also agree, but in a different manner).
The point is this: Being happy about the gains cannot be allowed to excuse the fraud and cheating that is apparent and/or probable. Vote fraud threatens to debase this country straight into banana republic territory, especially when it can be practices nearly in the open.
I believe the table is set for 2012 for the democrats to cheat their way to victory at the national level. They have shown the ability to do so at the state level several different times, in several different states, defying the law and the system from even recognizing it.
So, I ask again: How much cheating is acceptable, given the gains that have been made?
As a corollary, how much cheating is acceptable if the GOP loses big?
I keep seeing posts that focus on the gains, and excuse the cheating (or applaud posts that do so, such as in your case). Voter fraud and election cheating can’t be tolerated by anyone. It debases the whole system.
