WOW! HAVE YOU SEEN CHRISTINE'S 30-MIN AD?
CHRISTINE O'DONNELL ^ | 01 NOVEMBER 2010 | CHRISTINE O'DONNELL

Posted on 11/01/2010 7:34:17 PM PDT by Extremely Extreme Extremist

This is the best political ad I have ever seen! I mean, this is a total game-changer and is unprecedented as I have never seen a Republican do this before. It succinctly lays out the issues and why only conservative remedies are the best option. Especially the part about education.

No flames from me. She ran a terrible campaign.

I guess this is why the TV channel tried to skip running it.

This ad was a great idea.
Too bad her campaign didn’t have it a month ago.
I agree that her campaign flailed around without a message too long, and wasted time playing defense. Sharron Angle didn’t play defense, she went for the jugular over and over again. And that is why she will win. Odonnell
Ay pull out a surprise upset in this political climate, but it is unlikely.

Someday folks will admit she was a terrible candidate. Just because the MSM mistreated her and she's a conservative doesn't mean she ran a good campaign. Her silly "I'm you" and "I'm not a witch" ads were the biggest self-inflicted wounds of any major race.

Politics is local first and foremost. The people of Delaware know her or she wouldn't have made it this far. Those who sneer at her "silly" ads (you, Karl Rove, and others) may just be surprised at the outcome.

Did you even watch the ad?

I mean, it's absolutely fantastic. This is what Republicans should have done from the get-go. Forget the 30 second soundbites and attack ads. It doesn't have to be 30 min, it could be 5 min of explaining why liberalism doesn't work and how conservative solutions do work.

As I said, this is unprecedented. I've never seen anything like this since the Ross Perot segments.

-- Christine O'Donnell is nothing like the Mouthpiece Media and in-house elites have portrayed her. --

The media presents NOTHING correctly. In other words, O'Donnell isn't the only thing or person being presented in a misleading fashion. Politics is nearly identical with entertainment celebrity. What the public sees is the act, not the actor.

30 minute ad = way, way too long.

Cable Access Channel = Waste of money.

Who is running her campaign? The kids from Glee?

Unless there is a Republican wave / tsunami, in which case many Republicans who are behind in the polls will win.

1) Conservative Independents. Those are tea partiers. They will vote. Other Independents not as much. Pollsters really can’t do anything about that. Even if they try. They can say “well, Republicans are going to vote more, let’s bump up their turnout, and let’s turn down Democrat turnout.” But Independents are Independents. They can’t break up Independents into Conservative or not Conservative, and they can’t really ask different questions to Conservatives and non Conservatives to determine likely voters. It’s complicated, but Conservative Indies are going to turn out big. That will mean that Indies will be breaking strong for Christine, and that polls haven’t be showing that.

2) What’s happening on the ground. Christine had 1000+ for her tea party express rally yesterday. Coons and Biden had between 100-300. There’s real enthusiasm there. That’s the enthusiasm gap. That’s where you get the victory. People who like Christine, and there are a lot who really do, will be voting. People who don’t like Christine, or who actually like Coons, just won’t be voting as much.

She is nothing like Scott Brown.

Not even close.

And Scott had pro’s running his campaign—and he was an experienced State Sen with pretty decent name recognition across the state.

No comparison at all.

You are getting tiresome. This is a constant with you. Leave it to the voters.

If she’s such a terrible candidate how did she beat a 9-term incumbent Congressman who was also a former Governor?

Good Ad. Hope a lot of people had a chance to view it. She certainly has hit all the areas of interest. Will say some prayers for her tonight.

That's right, because I dislike her embarassing "witch" and "I'm you!" ads, I'm with Karl Rove.

Did you even watch the ad?

I watched enough to know it wasn't a "game changer," and besides, I didn't comment on the content of it, so just like with your Rove comment, your distraction from what I actually said won't work.

I hope she wins, too, but only to keep that boob Coons out, not because she deserves to be senator.

Because she's a genius, that's how. You're right, she's awesome.

No matter how good a campaign she would have run or not the facts are that 47% of Republicans voted for Castle and many of those folks are traitors who have vowed not to vote for COD in the general election. And this has virtually nothing to do with COD’s campaign but because they are bitter at COD for taking down their local hero Mike Castle.

What I hope is that instead of voting for Coons these folks simply stay home, but unfortunately I don’t think that will happen especially in New Castle county. They would rather vote for the Bearded Marxist, Coons, than support someone they consider an upstart.
