I just recieved my copy of "American Rifleman". I was digusted to see they rated Rory Reid the same as Brian Sandoval and thus no endorsment. Rory is Harry Reid's son. Harry associates himself with the worst gun grabbers in Washington. The apple does not fall far from the tree.
NRA is supporting a rat in my district. They can send there membership dues to the rat also
If it wasn’t for the only shooting range in town being a NRA range, I’ve been very tempted to cancel my membership this year. They endorsed Chet Edwards down in Texas, a very liberal Dem who only plays nice about 2nd Amendment rights during the election season but is Nancy Pelosi’s boy toy the rest of the year.
(No, I am not joining the GOA).

This is not The NRA I joined many yers ago.
I know, it is just generally when these threads pop up, I get half a dozen emails saying I should join or donate to the GOA instead. I don’t care at all for the GOA, their entire game seems to be about attacking any group that is not them and their operation seems to be an over-rated blog.
I hope the Tea Party realize it isn't just the loons in the Capital it is the groups with the money that gets them elected.
This why the likes of Trent Lott say get um' here and we will co-op them and why we are so Freakin Pissed at the Blue Hair Republicans and the RNC, they want to keep the power players and the game the same.

The NRA refused to Endorse Marco Rubio in my American Rifleman cover. So he probably did something , big deal. Will he put Marxist professors on the supreme court like the Democrats the NRA endorses? NO!
Personally, I think rank and file need to take a look at what the VFW did when their PAC ran wild with crazy endorsements. The board of the VFW fired the board of the PAC. The PAC was endorsing Code Pink supporters. I wouldn't be surprised if the DNC didn't survey the various vet groups and see a PAC board that was an easy mark, just to say "look at the vets that endorse us."
We need to demand new leadership within the ILA. If that doesn't happen we need to vote in NRA board members that will support the will of the membership and fire both Cox and LaPierre. Wayne always comes off like a whiner anyway.
The next question is who do we want in charge of the NRA?
