Yes it is. You keep saying if they are screened and able to serve, they should. They do not belong in the military.

DADT allows them to serve by encouraging them to lie.

How do you think they served when they were banned? THEY LIED. There is no test to find if someone is a homosexual because it is a behavior.

If the military screens them and deems them able to serve - fine with me. If the military screens them and deems them not able to serve - fine with me. I will not second guess the military.

Everybody should be able to apply - and be denied or approved.

Exactly. The DADT restricts military to ask questions about that kind of behavior - this encourages lies and dishonesty and makes things worse.
