I have heard Beck say and seen written on Free Republic by other Mormons that they believe Jesus died for their sins and is their savior.

Big deal. If it's the wrong Jesus, the one that Joey Smith made up instead of the One in the Bible, it's meaningless what they claim.

Putting your faith in the wrong Jesus can't save you.

Just because some spirit calls itself Jesus, doesn't mean it is. If it's the half-brother of Lucifer (aka Satan), it's the wrong one.

You are correct. Putting your faith in the wrong Jesus can’t save you.

There are so many wrong Jesus’ out there. Islam has their version too. He comes back at the end and says he wasn’t God’s son and that someone else died on the cross, not him.

There’s the hippie free love version of Jesus, who says whatever you do and believe is groovy, man. Just love everyone and everything and love is all you need, man.

There’s a Jesus who is removed, harsh, legal and jusgmental and only appears to mete out grace if you ask his mother or other officially recognized saints. Jesus is the justice and judging side of God, his mom representing the loving and merciful side of God.

There’s Jesus’s out there that people have that say he was just a great avatar or teacher, and that everyone needs to find their own path to god/godhood like he did.

There’s Jesus’ out there that people have concocted that say all religions eventually get you to god.

There’s Jesus’ out there people have made up that say people are by nature, good, and you don’t have to change anything in your life because God made you just the way you are. God accepts you as you are (which He does) but ifyou don’t want to try to live any better than you are right now, you don’t have to because you’re just fine the way you are.

Then there are Jesus’ people have devised that were once a mortal human being like we are, but he lived a good enough life to become a god. And that if we live a good enough life, like Jesus did, we can become a god just like him.

Jesus did say in Scripture that many would come claiming they were Christ. Many others would also come saying “Christ is here!” and “Christ is over there!” And many would be deceived.

There are plenty of false Jesus’ all around. There are a lot of people that point folks to false Jesus’. And there are many that are deceived.

I am solidly against any Jesus that deceives people and whatever group that chooses to promote such a Jesus to others as being the real thing.
