If anyone wants to see Obama’s original vital records, they should get a subpoena for them which would allow the state to release them without Obama’s permission and without any input from him.

The law in Hawaii says they are authorized to copy all or part of any vital record for a person with tangible interest.
Anything else you think you know about that is just plain wrong. I do understand that the point has been obfuscated, but the law is what it is.

The basic problem, as has been noted many times, is that Lakin chose the wrong vehicle. This thing is unfolding exactly as expected because, as someone else noted, there is a clear, well-established legal basis for Lakin’s orders being lawful even if Obama was suddenly determined to be a space alien. Or an unusually tall mutant hamster.
If Lakin wants to be a martyr to this cause, then fine. That's his choice. But if he actually expected to win the case his attorneys have presented to date, he got extremely bad legal advice.

But the natural-born citizen issue is not a valid reason to inspect because there is no SCOTUS/legal definition for the term. Verifying ‘date of birth’ appears to be a valid reason, however, to ensure the president meets the age requirement to have the executive authority to waive my fourth amendment rights.

I agree. They should have argued that Obama may not be 35 years old. Anyone can tell by looking at his vital records if he meets the age qualification, but not necessarily the Natural Born Citizen qualification. It would be palpably illegal if he did not meet that requirement.

Just read it. This part. in particular, and they expound further on it:
