Hell, I think O’Donnell is a nutty liar who’s only gotten traction because of the anti-incumbent feelings of the country right now. She’s a crackpot, and she (and Paladino, another nutty one) will give conservatism a bad name in the end.

I haven't heard of Paladino doing anything wrong. He's a good candidate with a good resume and a strong business background.

Paladino’s got problems, too. He has a 10 year-old daughter he neglected to tell his wife of 40 years about until last year, and he’s got a bad habit of sending off emails one would think beneath the dignity of a guy who wants to be governor - like a woman having sex with a horse. Imagine if you will, the justifiable outrage voiced in this very forum if he were the Democratic candidate - but here, nary a peep. “If he’s got an ‘R’ next to his name, he’s good enough for me...”, seems to be the mantra. The rationalization here is sometimes mind-boggling in its intellectual dishonesty.

He’s got a good business background and an illegitimate ten year old as he knocked up a staffer. Were he a Democrat, we’d be all over him for Monica Lewinksy-ing someone.

And he goes around threatening people with harm (like the admittedly over-the-line Post editor he had the run-in with last week).
