You make a valid point. It is natural for people to want to be around other people who have much in common. As I've pointed out above, that is more of a cultural thing and not matter of skin coloring. Everyone says they have friends of differing races, I actually did when I was growing up and still do. We all had the same values.
Still I don't want to be around black 'hood types, asian wannabes, hispanic Aztec types, nor white biker 1%er trash. Their outlook on life and behavior just doesn't gel with mine. Again, culture.
The melting pot of America went too far. While some were wrongfully treated in the early days, of late, we (European ancestry) only want others to conform to values/culture that this Nation was founded upon. Yes, there is an American culture. Or at least there was and it benefited the entire World.
Those who don't want to subscribe to those traditional and time tested values, no matter their ethnicity (including whites) can go live elsewhere. I reserve the right to not associate with them. If that makes me a separatist, so be it.
