From a religious perspective, I agree with you. From a perspective of being a good United States Citizen, I think you can still be a good citizen and be a homosexual. Just like you can be a good U.S. Citizen and be an adulterer, a philanderer, etc. I don't think you can be a good United States Citizen if you are a Marxist and want to confiscate someone's wealth to give it to someone else, no matter if you are a practicing Christian or not...
