I have to wonder what odds he would have set for her to raise $1.5M in less than three days.

That's OK.
We'll take this now and finish it off in 2012.

Rather have it this way than a "majority" of RINOs who will engage in "power sharing" - we had that for a couple of years and look at where it got us.

Let me be a contrarian for a moment. Maybe it’s for the best that Republicans don’t hold both chambers going into the Presidential election cycle. It will be more difficult for Obama to run against and to blame Republicans for his continued failures.

Win or Lose, was still the right thing to do because it sent a very clear message to the GOP establishment that they can’t #@%& with us!

Keep these articles to throw back in their faces when the Senate goes Republican.

Odds are RINO Mike Castle won’t be the U.S. Senator from Delaware are extremely HIGH.

And that alone is a good thing.

So? I don’t care about a “GOP” majority. Never did. I want a conservative majority. Infact I’m pretty sure the only people that care if the GOP has a “Republican” majority in the Senate are the insiders. The House can sufficiantly block the Senate and W.H. and we’ll win that.

If its 51-49 - the GOP would be in no real big different situation than if it was 49-51 Dem since Castle would be a Jim Jeffords anyway.

It’s amazing how many people don’t understand the gravity of the situation we’re in.

Read my lips RINO’s - lameness is not an option.

“Moderation” only means more of the same, which we clearly cannot afford.

The old guard Republicans are starting to make Sore/Loserman look downright mature.

I strongly suspect that the voter of Delaware WILL indeed elect O’Donnell especially if she uses the fact that here Dem opponent is a self avowed Communist to maximum effect!

In a conventional election, I’d agree but I guess we are going to see just how unconventional this election is. The polls keep moving in the GOP’s favor. In Delaware, the voters may just be willing to vote for someone who they know will vote to cut government despite her personal flaws rather than vote in a Marxist with a better resume. I guess we’ll find out.

Last Monday, pundits were predicting that the Senate could go 52 Repubs. Now with Delaware iffy, it is suddenly down to 48?

Cook: Odds Of GOP Senate Near Zero After Delaware

Dirtboy: Odds of the Maine twins thinking they can continue to vote to break GOP filibusters without fear of getting primaried their next election: Absolute Zero.

And that is the real benefit here. Even RINO senators from otherwise blue states can no longer think they're safe.

Better 49 conservative Republicans than 51 RINOs. Any day of the week.

How would a Senate with Castle and the other RINOs not be controlled by Democrats? The only difference is that Republicans would get blamed for it. If the citizens of Delaware aren’t brain dead, Republicans will still get the Senate, with O’Donnell instead of a Washingtonian liar, or another loser Marxist.

A GOP majority Senate with Collins, Snowe, Brown and Graham means nothing but trouble.
