I would characterize her as a Progressive -Progressives come in both flavors Republican and Democrat.
To characterize simply what Progressive are and believe is maybe simply put all about Progress premised in rational thought and science -advancement -they focus on the ends, the goal, the dream, the fantasy -they want Utopia, Heaven on earth. They think it possible, and as such many times the ends justify the means -principles are meaningless and discarded on the road of progress -they reach for the sky and have no need for a foundation that holds them back... THINK tower of Babel...
Oh, I don’t question that she is a progressive, her own father is a progressive — as he has said many times he is a TR Republican; TR was a progressive. But if you ever followed her on Twitter, she is single-mindedly obsessed with the issue of gay marriage.
