That’s an interesting question. If the traditional Christian view is true, then all the goodness in our society is God’s doing. We sinful humans only foul it up. So in that sense, Christians and atheists are parasites alike.

Except that God uses we believers to accomplish the good He wishes. He does not miraculously provide the good while we sit on our couches, or even our pews.
