Debbie may be right, but she’s one of the most bitter, anger-corroded person I’ve encountered.
Honestly I wasn’t waiting on Miss America or Miss USA’s or any elected offical’s opinion for that matter on whether it should be built or not.
I’m against the Mosque being built there.
So if she wants to speak out against it but not on other matters, I’m fine with it. It’s more dialogue than we’ve had in nine years imo, and I’m glad several Muslims have spoken up against it.

What a mess this has become that I am sure the planners never saw coming. They thought they played/paid the right parties and had their mosque shrine all neatly wrapped up and slipped through the loophole of government "freedom of religion" tolerance.

A few months ago I wouldn't have dreamed... But with Schlussel, anything is possible, I guess. I am not afraid of this girl. She's found her calling in America, where she is still somewhat free to do whatever it is she does best. If she called me with a need for my unique and much sought after services, grilling her about her relatives' history vis a vis hizbollah wouldn't be first on my priority list.
