That was just before the election.
Why it wasn’t higher immediately after the election, or in January 2009 when all these wondrous things were to happen, one can only guess.
Judging by the high percentage of pledged members, I’d say you’re spot on. A lack of interest from those not participating monetarily may well be the cause; brought on by the distinct sleaziness of the forum.
As to ‘spring chickens’, I understand, but that runs contra to the common belief here about that membership. All those stories around here of them being in their mom’s basement and such...
Just a random coupon thought for you: have you considered donating the food you “buy” to a local homeless shelter and taking a tax write-off (for full value, of course)? That could be something worth trying.
