NFL Player Puts Islam Above Team

Once again we see Islam being brought into the workplace. Today we learn that Minnesota Vikings safety Husain Abdullah, has decided that fasting and playing at a lower level, is more important than giving it his all for the team.
Even while sprinting in the heat and humidity during drills, sometimes in full pads, Abdullah is adamant about his faith. He will not allow himself so much as a cup of water until the sun sets and before it rises.
Im putting nothing before God, nothing before my religion, Abdullah said. This is something I choose to do, not something I have to do. So Im always going to fast.
Unfortunately the team is foolishly going along with this.
Last year it occurred in early September, and we saw a dip in his performance, coach Brad Childress said. We said, Whats wrong with Husain Abdullah? It doesnt seem like he has enough spunk.
I think we have our arms around it now and know when he is going to wake up and when he is going to eat and what we can pack on him before the sun comes up.
Obviously he is not a team player, and hopefully his teammates will let him know this
He probably also talks on a cell phone and drives a car. These are two inventions that, if left to Islam, never would have been invented. If he wants to live like he is in the 7th century, he should wear a robe and go live in some middle east s$%@hole.
