The fact that he is a Muslim or that he is fasting doesn’t make him an America-hating terrorist. I’d say this is admirable and I wish more Christian players would put their faith above the game.
Terrorists are the least of the problem when it comes to Islam. Muslims like this that push their religion into all aspects of America, are even more dangerous to life as we know it. As a Christian why are you supporting a man following a religion that calls for your dominance?
I understand your point, but this is a clear example of misplaced priorities coupled with a dose of obnoxious self-righteousness. In this case, why would a faithful Muslim deliberately pursue a career that puts him at odds with the goal of winning football games? Unless of course, it gives him an opportunity to project an inflated sense of self: "Oh, look at me. I'm a faithful Muslim, so you better change all the rules to suit me."
Beyond that, what will be next? Will he demand that he not be interviewed by female sportcasters? Insist that all stadiums point towards Mecca? Demand that a game in play be suspended so that he can pray on the 50-yard-line?
God in heaven decides who is righteous and righteousness only comes through faith. Faith that God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross, go to hell, take our sickness, our sin, our poverty on him so all those who believe on him can be redeemed back to the Father.
This Muslim is a heretic and a showman as are the rest of them.

If more Christian players put their faith above the game, they wouldn’t be ‘working’ (getting paid) on Sunday, now would they?
