to whet their Far Left Appetites

Actually his birthday was last February.

Feb. 6, 2010 corresponded to Safar 21, AH 1431. Obama's birthday according to the Gregorian calendar, Aug. 4, 1961, was Safar 21, 1381, by the Islamic calendar. So he's 50 years old, and it's understandable that none of his family is with him today to celebrate a non-birthday.
