See, bloggers aren’t so bad! In fact, they could very well be responsible for an additional $500,000.00 in tax money to the Massachusetts Revenue Department by one fell swoop. News that John Kerry was more than likely skipping out on paying Massachusetts taxes by harboring his $7 Million yacht in Rhode Island, burned through internet via blog sites all over the country. From all accounts, it looked as if Kerry attempted to bail on $437,500.00 in sales tax – as well as $70,000.00 a YEAR in excise tax.
It’s not well received when Democrats, who spend their entire elected careers figuring out how they can tax and tax and tax their constituents, decide to become professional tax dodgers who look for creative ways to manipulate the system and get out of paying hundreds of thousands of dollars themselves in those very same taxes themselves.
As a result of this news, Kerry has been hammered relentlessly all week and today released a statement to the Associated Press saying that, “The payment is being made promptly.”
And, by the way, if it hadn’t been for the bloggers, talk radio and news outlets outside of the corrupt mainstream media, no one would have ever known!! Now you have another half a million in the coffers to spend on yet more welfare programs! You are welcome, Massachusetts!!

Kerry knows that he is above the law. He has already sold all his self respect and credibility. He has already sold his soul for money and power. Why would he care if he is inconvenienced in any way with questions about taxes. What he did is legal, he will NOT pay the tax and come reelection time the local morons in Mass will send him back to DC to ‘report for duty’!
I think he was caught trying to pilfer rice.......
Kerry doesn’t own the yacht, a Heinz family trust or corporation owns it.
Kerry is just a very well paid second mate.
He probably gets an allowance from Mama T.
First of all, it ain’t Kerry who will be paying the half million, it’s Theresa...or more properly, John Heinz! And don’t get too happy until the check is actually CASHED. Surely you don’t expect the MSM to follow the story all the way to the bank!!

OK, everybody, Kerry may be a repugnant POS, but what he did was not illegal. He registered the boat in a state with lower taxes. Ask yourselves, what if he was from a landlocked state? Should he register his boat in his home state, or where it's moored?
If people keep harping on crap like this, politicians will nail us for taxes in a state we left years ago, just because we may have been born there.
Politicians will find a way to use this against the rest of us. Heck, they already have. They nearly put the boatbuilding industry out of business in the '80's with their luxury tax nonsense.
They are when they are flat out ignorant.
