Dear friends,
When Ginny Brown-Waite mentioned her retirement several months ago, she and Richard Nugent concocted a plan to prevent any other GOP candidates from entering the race. She announced her retirement the very last day one can file to run for office for US House FL District 5. Rich Nugent had his papers ready on the last day and filed "just in time" - even though the two of them knew of this plan for over 30 days and told no one.
However, there is some silver lining. Tea Party candidate Jason Sager filed to unseat Ginny with over seven thousand signatures placing him on the ballot months before this deadline. He was ready to take Ginny head on after she had mentioned in an interview that "the Constitution was a living document". And she wasn't talking about amendments, she was implying what progressives have said - the Constitution is outdated and that we should work around it with the US Code and through the courts to make it more modern. Notice the big book she holds up in this video, that book is what she means by a "living document" It is only logical to conclude that the replacement she selected for herself shares her views.
Now that you have some background, please watch the debate between the establishment candidate Rich Nugent and the Tea Party candidate Jason Sager. This debate occurred on 15 July, 2010 in Pasco County.

Jason was great both times. The questions at the July 15 debate were more challenging and the candidates were more passionate. Last night, July 21st, they were seated, and the questions were mostly softballs. The room was also over crowded and the air conditioning was not keeping up. Nobody was comfortable in that environment.
Please, steal my sig and show your support for Jason Sager. The HTML is on my profile page here.
I stand with Jason Sager in Florida's 5th Congressional District. |

He even has "dialup friendly" downloadable low bandwidth versions.
Will do friend. I was at both debates as well. I agree about which one was better. Keep me in your ping list.
