Only in England can you be a 30 year old full time student. Guess this is the only way that she felt that she was being productive.
There are many full time students 30 and older in the USA.
I believe that the average amount of time it takes to earn an undergrad degree these days is five years, up from the traditional four.
Figure that means for everyone that graduates in four years, you have someone graduating in six years! Wow!
