I doubt any of these publications would be posting in Blogger and Personal. Can that be clarified? As I said, I seem to be doing the same thing many, many others are doing. It would be good to know if there is a FR rule for Bloggers and Personal, which I understand is quite different from News and Activism.

It happens all the time for sources that retains their copyright permissions. How is a blogger less an owner of their content then some liberal rag like the times? Why is a conservative blogger less deserving of a hit then some liberal rag? Sure when a blogger pimp is requiring a hit to their blog for content that isn't even theirs I completely agree with you, but this person wrote and article and as such owns the content and determines what is published here or not.
I would like to see the media establishment overthrown. As such bloggers should be given the same respect as any media source as they are the most likely replacement for modern media.

There are decent blogs, and there are blogpimps.

Do you comment on any post that is excerpted or just blogs that are excerpted?

There are sources that require excerpting. None of them are blogs.
Bloggers that excerpt their own material to get blog hits are pimping.
I may point this out from time to time. Is that a problem?

Sources that require excerpting are those that have chosen not to let their intellectual property be freely diseminated. A blogger that creates their own content is equally the owner of their intellectual property and can equally decide to not freely desminate their property.
Of course if a blogger is excerpting someone elses intellectual property then they are simply pimping.
It's not a problem for me what you do or don't do. If hassling any and all bloggers floats your boat go for it. I just feel that it would be more logically consistent if you hassled bloggers that excerpt works that aren't their own. Embedded video clips that some blogger came across on "Utube" is a huge pet peeve of mine and I think it great that you call them out. Bloggers that find some article and then make you go to their blog only to then have to link out from their blog to get to the original content should be called out too. Original content creators deserve the same respect as any other intellectual content owner IMO.
I would expect that you will do whatever it is you want to do regardless of my opinion but there it is.

Also agreed.

I'll give that some thought, if I ever find a blogger of that sort.

Humblegunner is a pain in the arse.
We mostly ignore him...it seems like the kind thing to do.
He's on a jihad about blogs.

He's on a jihad about blogs. Likely a phase. I may get over it.
