I do something between chuckle and cringe every time I hear Chris Matthews, when running down those making noise about state’s separating (even though there was tons of lib noise 2003-4 by libs on same surrounding M. Moore’s “Jesusland”),
uses emphatically language like “duly elected”, “clearly elected” etc etc. Well of course his whine is there because of Florida in 2000 and Ohio 2004.
What oBozo-ACORN clearly did was steal the nomination in the early caucus states for sure. HC couldn’t squeal because the Clinton Pig Machine was so corrupt the Chicago Machine held sway via threats of exposure etc etc. Slick Willie wasn’t “the First Black President” after all. Unfortunately most of my state, Washington, went to voting by mail. That is all except King County, the most corrupt county in the state.

A poll watcher can oversee almost every aspect of voting.
Verifying that:
1) the voter showed ID
2) The voters name was on the list of voters registered in the precinct
3) the name was crossed off the list when the voter gor his/her ballot
4) nobody pressures the voter in the polling place, or votest for the voter (helping a voter is allowed)
5) the machines were zeroed out before the polls opened
6) the total number of ballots contained in the machine match the counter on the machine after the day is done
7) the manual vote count for each race matches the machine count - for all machines.
7) no campaigning or electioneering took place in the polling place
The watcher then independently delivers the verified counts to his Dem or Republican party office and this is checked against the official total.
The job is MUCH more than just sitting there and watching people walk in a vote.
In my county in Alabama we are advised not to take a camera into the polling place as it may be considered intimidation. We are advised to keep one in our car and we can go get it if needed.
We also carry cell phones with the party headquarters numbers available. In case of trouble, we call the party headquarters and help shows up.
Please do. The more eyes the better.
We could have much cleaner elections if conservatives had workers and watchers in every polling place. This should be a goal of conservative activists everywhere.
