As it should be. What would you suggest? If you update the tax base on homes, you will end up taxing people out of their homes.

LOL, In most states in the united states, they reassess their property values on a ten year cycle.

No, you quit offering government services that raise property taxes. There are lots of government jobs that have nothing to do with effective government. Eliminate services, eliminate jobs, less taxes required.
